Representative Daughtridge is serving as a State Representative for District 25. Through his conscientious involvement in business, community, and family, Bill has gained valuable experience that helps him serve effectively in the NC House of Representatives.
Representative Daughtridge’s professional background in finance has enabled him to chair the House Commerce Committee and serve as Vice Chairman of the House Finance Committee with greater insight and understanding. As a result of his strong work ethic and expertise, he is now ranked in the top ten most effective Republican legislators in the House of Representatives in just his second term. He also serves on the Education; Education Sub-Committee on Universities; Environment and Natural Resources; and Transportation Committees. During the interim session he has recently accepted positions on the House Select Committee on Rural Economy and the Study Commission on Economic Development Infrastructure.
He was recently appointed to the Defense and Security Technology Accelerator Advisory Committee, a program established through the North Carolina Technology Association, that is designed to create collaborations with the military, security experts, entrepreneurs and innovators that will drive technology business development, technology commercialization, and job creation.
